Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2 is Testwinner!
The new Kiddy Phoenixfix pro 2 is the first Group 1 child car seat to achieve the top rating of "Very good" in tests by ADAC and Stiftung Warentest.
Top marks in the categories of safety, handling and pollutant levels lead to an overall score of 1.4. This is the best result that has ever been awarded for a Group 1 (9-18 kg) child car seat.
"Kiddy has achieved a first in the latest test: this supplier provided the first very good seat for older children up to four years of age. Until now, the top rating was reserved for infant carriers," reads the verdict of Stiftung Warentest.
Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) published its latest test results. The 'Phoenixfix Pro 2' was the first ever recipient of the top rating, 'Outstanding' in the 45-year history of the TCS child car seat test. The experts particularly recognised 'safety and operation of the highest level' with the rating of '5 stars'.
ÖAMTC also rated the 'Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2' with 'Very good'. "The seat is very light and is convincing with very low load values in the event of a front or side impact. There were no problems in the other test criteria either," explains ÖAMTC expert Steffan Kerbl.
Kiddy Impact Shield System
The Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2 includes the Kiddy Original Impact Shield in favour of a harness system. A statement from Stiftung Warentest declared,
"There is now a very good child car seat in standard Group 1 for the first time with the Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2. This car seat has very good protection. Kiddy achieves this with an impact shield. In the case of an accident, the child rolls against the padded impact shield. Movement and padding minimise the forces that the child is subjected to.
Parents cannot make many mistakes here: child car seats with an impact shield are easy to use. Sit the child in; fasten the impact shield, done. Belt harnesses are not complicated either, but must be firmly tightened to ensure the child is sat safely. Parents often allow too much leeway."

Suitable for vehicles with and without ISOFIX systems
The Phoenixfix Pro 2 can be installed in cars with an ISOFIX system or simple with just the seat belt. Both options have been tested for high safety.
Use in Aircraft
A license to fly! Kiddy car seats are approved by TÜV Rheinland and the Federal Aviation Authority for use in aircraft. After the flight and on vacation you can also use the child seat in a rental car and so there is no need to make a compromise on safety.
