Choose from time-lapse photo mode plus a relatively unique time-lapse video mode.Time-lapse video can be captured without any additional software and is processed directly on the camera so that you can immediately share it with friends.

As with other action cameras the LAMAX X8 Electra features integrated Wi-Fi. Within seconds this feature can turn your Android or iOS smartphone into a camera remote control. Wherever your device is placed, monitoring or recording your shots on your phone is a breeze.

<b>Action camera or car camera?</b>
The X8 Electra is also a fully-functional car camera so there is no need to unnecessarily spend extra money on specialized equipment. LAMAX Electronics' experience in producing car cameras has really paid off in the development of the current generation of action cameras, providing logical and intuitive control of all car camera functions.

<b>Car mode</b>
When activated, the camera can be used as a dash cam. Once connected to the power supply the camera automatically turns on and begins recording. Disconnecting the power stops the recording and turns the camera off.

<b>Loop recording</b>
This function ensures continuous recording without having to replace the micro SD card. When space runs out on the memory card, the oldest files will be overwritten by the new ones. This function can be manually turned on or off.

<b>Parking Mode</b>
Turn the camera into a security guard for your parked car. The X8 Electra automatically begins shooting when there is a collision or an attempted break-in.

<b>Motion detection</b>
The camera automatically begins recording the moment any motion is detected in the visual field of the lens. Recording automatically stops after the motion ceases.

<b>Delay recording</b>
This function affects when the recording stops after the power supply is disconnected. Recording stops 20 seconds after disconnecting the power. When disabled, recording stops as soon as the power is disconnected.

<b>File lock</b>
Each recorded file can be locked, protecting it against deletion in the camera gallery and ensuring it is not overwritten whilst loop recording.

<b>Durability in extreme conditions</b>
The protective case significantly expands the camera's possibilities. Whether you love, for example, climbing, skiing, paragliding, downhill or windsurfing you can bring the X8 Electra along with you and take unique shots, even under dangerous conditions. The case also enables you to explore the sea world close up, to a depth of 30 m. Show of your very own deep sea footage to your friends.

<b>2 baterries</b>
With your order your will receive 2 Li-ion batteries. This doubles the length of video you can shoot, meaning you can record up to 180 minutes of Full HD 1080p video without interruption.

<b>Manual settings</b>
Every professional knows that automatic setup is both convenient and quick but for the best results it is sometimes necessary to set the parameters manually. The X8 Electra allows you to adjust ISO, exposure, white balance or colour filters.

<b>Multilingual menu</b>
With the X8 Electra we made sure to make the controls intuitive. This along with a complete multilingual menu make controlling the camera a breeze.

<b>Widescreen webcam</b>
After connecting to a computer, the camera can function as a WEBCAM. The X8 Electra becomes a fully-featured widescreen webcam with excellent high-quality recording capabilities.

<b>Automatic image orientation</b>
The LAMAX ACTION X8 Electra features automatic image orientation. For example, if the camera is hung upside down, the image is automatically rotated to the correct position. The function can, of course, be switched off course.
