More Efficiency.
The true potential of Voice over IP can be used to the full and seamlessly integrated into business applications with the Microsoft Outlook plugin, IBM Lotus Notes support, or TAPI. For example, incoming calls can immediately prompt the caller’s contact data to be opened. Conversely, telephone numbers can be called directly from Outlook, Lotus Notes or other business applications. The user interface is functional and adaptable and offers perfect operability to professional users at their place of work. Designs that are adapted to typical scenarios are included, e.g. the "Operator" provides a large number of quick-dial buttons, and the "Minimal" option offers only the most essential elements required when travelling.

Once installed on a notebook, the system telephone is always at your side—and available under your internal extension number thanks to SIP. For example, via the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client when travelling, via a LANCOM router with VoIP Option in the home office, or anywhere within the company once logged on to the LANCOM Business VoIP gateway. The perfect extra for the office at home or at work is the LANCOM VoIP USB Handset. Operated just like a telephone and equally robust, it allows numbers to be directly dialed from within any program such as Microsoft Outlook, for example—a method which is much easier and far more reliable.

System telephones with complex programmed keys and menu navigation are a thing of the past. In comparison, using the intuitive user interface of the Advanced VoIP Client for organizing caller lists, speed dialing, connecting and forwarding calls, automatic call back and recording is far easier and more practical.
