Further, all active functions can simply and easily be selected by flipping a switch: the air intake and extraction function firmly positions your laundry on the ironing board and ensures the steam diffuses into the fibres, drawing any surplus steam downwards. Your laundry is instantly smooth and dry enough to be put away, and stays free of wrinkles and creases. The easy glide function ensures top ironing results without indentations from seams or buttons and makes the ironing of even delicate items as easy and crease-free as if your laundry were suspended over a cushion of air. The iron effectively hovers over your laundry, doing away with the need to exert pressure and avoiding any strain on the wrist. The Leifheit Air Active L active ironing board is suitable for use with all standard steam stations capable of fitting onto the extra-large universal tray (31 x 28 cm) positioned at an ergonomically correct height. The ultra-light ironing surface measures 126 x 41 cm and consists of a high-quality, ultra-light specialist material (EPP). This enables even easier and smoother ironing of large and wide items of laundry. Being very lightweight, the ironing board is easy to move. The ironing board can be adjusted to the ideal working height using 1 of 6 settings from 75 to 100 cm. Four non-slip and adjustable plastic feet ensures the ironing board remains stable, even when placed on a slightly uneven surface.
