Lenovo IBM Multi-Burner Plus Internal optical disc drive

The IBM Multi-Burner Plus now includes write support for double-layer DVD+R media and has faster write speeds than our previous drive. It eliminates the need to choose between competing recordable DVD formats. With the Multi-Burner Plus you can archive and access data, video, photo and music files on high capacity DVDs or inexpensive CDs.

NEW! Writes to DVD+R Double-Layer media. Double layer DVD+R discs have a second layer on a single-sided disc, nearly doubling the storage capacity
Stores up to 9.4GB per double-sided DVD-RAM disc, up to 4.7GB on other DVD discs, and up to 700MB on CDs, depending on the media used
Faster write speeds than our previous drive:
- Writes CD-R media at 40X max (6.0 MB/sec)
- Writes CD-RW media at 24X max (3.6 MB/sec)

- Writes DVD+R double layer media at 4X max (5.5MB/sec)

Reads and writes both DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+R, DVD+R double layer, DVD+RW formats. It also writes CD-R and CD-RW discs to help reduce format compatibility concerns
