The LevelOne’s WNC-0301USB is a wireless USB dongle adapter with the newest wireless technology to deliver data rates up to 54Mbps at 2.4 GHz. This device is fully compliant with IEEE 802.11g and backward compatible to 802.11bwith automatic rate selection for reliable wireless data communication to build extension possibilities and to protect your original network investment.
The device supports UPnP standard, you can easily and quickly install the adapter into any desktop or notebook with the setup wizard and the hot-swappable USB interface. Like LevelOne’s other wireless adapter, the WNC-0301USB can be used in the infrastructure mode by connecting the wireless AP or router to the internet seamlessly or in Ad-hoc mode to connect with other wireless computers for file sharing. Moreover, this wireless adapter can be acted as an access point that allows peer-to-peer communication among any wireless users to share the Internet resources.
We protect wireless security with standard 64/128 WEP, WPA-TKIP, and AES encryption features and further enhanced with 802.1x user authentication. Concerning OS compatibility, WNC-0301USB can interoperate with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP. With the compact and portable design, the device makes it an easy fit for any limited space.
