Combine High-speed Internet Access with VoIP
The WBR-3470 combines ADSL Internet connectivity with VoIP functionality making it possible for home and small office users to simultaneously connect to the Internet while making inexpensive Internet phone calls. The WBR-3470 is SIP compliant, ensuring interoperability with SIP devices and major VoIP Gateways. By connecting the router to an existing analog telephone, users can make toll-quality VoIP calls via an ADSL Internet connection.
The VoIP ADSL router integrates two RJ-11 FXS ports for connecting to regular telephones and fax machines as well as an RJ-11 FXO port to connect to the PSTN network for traditional inbound and outbound calls. This is very useful when making local calls or when the VoIP services or Internet access are not available.
The VoIP ADSL router supports call waiting, silence suppression, voice activity detection (VAD), comfort noise generation (CNG), line echo cancellation and caller ID (Bell 202, V3).
Secured Wireless Internet Access
With an integrated 802.11g Wireless Access Point, the WBR-3470 VoIP Router offers high-speed wireless network access. It is also backward compatible with 802.11b devices. The Wireless Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) supported features enhance the security level of data protection and access control via Wireless LAN. It also features a built-in Wireless Distribution System (WDS) function that allows for an easy to set-up wide coverage wireless network.
Feature Rich Functions
The VoIP Router supports an array of firewall security features such as SPI, DoS attack prevention, and URL Content Filtering providing users with a protected and secured network.
It further provides QoS (Quality of Service) that ensures efficient data transmissions of inbound and outbound data. The integrated DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) client and server services allow multiple LAN users to acquire automatic IP address assignment. With ADSL2/2+ compliance, users are assured of high-speed Internet access. For advanced users, the WBR-3470 also provides a Virtual Service feature for port forwarding. The Virtual Server can also be used to re-task services to multiple servers.
User Friendly Web-based User Interface and Quick Installation Wizard
The Web-based User-Interface makes it easy to configure all the services provided on the VoIP Router. With initial installation, a quick installation wizard assists users to configure the basic settings of the VoIP Router to connect to an ISP.
