600mm 4 Induction Cooktop (Visual Cook)
Features electronic touch controls for each cooking zone, automatic pot detection, one touch simmer, rapid heat up and visual cook zone. It also has great safety features on board to give you peace of mind especially around little fingers, such as residual heat indicator, automatic off for spillage and/or overheating.
Induction Heating
The electromagnetic energy generated by an induction coil reacts only with magnetic materials. This means the base of the pot or pan absorbs the electromagnetic energy and converts it into energy thus making the base of the pan the source of the heat. The benefit of this is safety as it is flameless and has a lower cooking surface temperature. Induction heating ensures precise, efficient cooking.
Safety
The LG induction cooktop range is built with your safety in mind. The induction heating system is flameless and has a lower cooktop surface temperature. The range only generates heat when a magnetic based pan is placed on the cook zone. All models come with a child lock function to ensure little fingers cannot turn the heat on accidentally giving you total peace of mind.
Booster Function
The booster function in induction cooktops allows instant and accurate heat to be reached. It gives you instant intense heat very quickly to enable you to cook faster saving you time and energy. For example the booster function allows you to boil water up to twice as fast as an ordinary electric cooktop.
One Touch Simmer
Pressing the one touch simmer button sets all the active cooking zones to a light simmer (the lowest setting). So if you are interrupted whilst cooking you can press the button and when you are back to your cooking, simply press the button again and it resets all the active cooking zones to their original setting.
Visual Cook Zone
The visual cook zone lights up when the cooking zone is turned on to let you know which zones are active. It also indicates whether a pot has been detected or not.
Easy to Clean
The sleek surface is exceptionally easy to clean. Simply wait until the surface has cooled completely before cleaning.
