Backplane System, 8.89 cm (3.5 ") , SATA, HOT SWAP, 1200g The SATA RAID Back Plane system is an internal drive housing that supports three SATA hard Drives. It can be installed into any suitable PC case or expansion system which has two 5¼" half-height drive bays available. The system is ideal for servers or workstations, allowing instant hot-swap access to the hard drives.

The SATA RAID Back Plane features a unique connection mechanism which allows the drives to be mounted directly into the back plane without the need for a separate caddy. A special 'no-scratch' connector protects the drive contacts and is tested to exceed over 10,000 insertions and ejections.
