Integrated freight exchange

Traffic patterns
The NAVTEQ traffic patterns now included in map&guide depict traffic flows on a route at a particular time of day. This adds precision when calculating expected journey times.
The traffic patterns represent speed information based on historical data for main and minor roads.
Green logistics
map&guide professional 2010 now contains emission values for France, Norway and Sweden in addition to those for Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the current HBEFA 3.1. The software enables you to calculate CO2 emissions and offsets for specific routes – the first step in any green logistics initiative.
Permanent road works
Besides current traffic information, map&guide professional 2010 now shows permanent road works and other permanent disruptions to route planning that are not included in traffic information. You can now avoid disrupted roads that are unaffected by changing traffic conditions from the start.
Toll data for all of Europe
map&guide professional 2010 contains even more toll data for Europe. It includes the tolls effected on 1 January 2010 for Slovakia as well as the current tariffs and special tolls for Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic and many other European countries.
