MINOX engineers have successfully integrated an electronic module in this compact viewing instrument, which features numerous additional functions: The built-in atmospheric pressure sensor which measures the altitude down to the exact meter, when out in the mountains, for example. Additional optional features are displays for temperature and time of day, and also a stop-watch function. The respective readings can be read off at any time from a LC display arranged on the top of the bridge. The precision manufactured lens system, with its multi-coated roof prisms, provides high contrast rendition as well as an extremely high resolution, even in critical light conditions.
The optical systems and the integrated electronic module are embedded in a sturdy aluminum body which guarantees reliable protection even when the going gets rough.
