The Rio MMT-CB32 is a Black glass cantilever TV stand for up to 37 inch flat screen LED LCD televisions. A very popular style of unit, the television stand with a mounting bracket to secure the screen to the rear of the stand to give the illusion of a floating television. Sometimes called a cantilever television stand, or TV stand with mount this type / style of unit is growing in it popularity.
Mounting solutions for flat screen televisions are numerous with thousands of different types of brackets on market. The television industry decided to work together and they all manufacture their screens to a set guidelines for the hole fixing points at the back of the television. VESA is what they came up with. Therefore on the television instruction sheet it will state if your television is 200mm, 400mm or 600mm VESA compliant. The MMT-CB32 has max VESA fixing pattern of 400mm x 400mm square.
The MMT-CB32 has a small base unit at 800mm wide therefore is very versatile and will fit easily into a corner of a room or look great on a flat wall. The cantilever design will hold the screen higher almost the same as if the screen was wall mounted. The added benefit of using the MMT cantilever stand is that is has a swivel mechanism, allowing 90 degrees of movement from left to right.
