The Rio MMT-CB55 is a modern & stylish cantilever TV stand finished in black with black glass shelving. Comprising of a 3 shelf base unit and a rear extension pole to mount your flat screen television to, the MMT-CB55 offers the practicality of a traditional stand, coupled with the "on the wall" look that the VESA mounting bracket provides.
Designed with a large 1100mm wide base the MMT-CB55 is able to provide great stability when holding large flat screen televisions up to 55" in size. 2 floating glass shelves provide additional storage for AV equipment, both are positioned below wire access holes to allow for easy equipment connection.
The rear extension arm is made of strong aluminum and features tension rod construction for added stability. The extension arm doubles as a cable management system, allowing wires to and from the TV and AV equipment. The TV mount is a high quality steel bracket with a maximum VESA fixing pattern of 600mm x 400mm. Added to this bracket is a swivel mechanism which offers 90 degrees of movements from left to right, 45 degrees each way from the centre position. The swivel action is created using a bearing fitted inside the center piece of the wall bracket, this engineered part enables a smooth and consistent movement. Some cheaper models on the market use a simple friction system which can fail after a short period because of metal grinding against metal.
