Deep Silence 5, 2.5"/3.5", 13.335 cm (5.25 ") , 1x 3.5/5.25 Combo, E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX <b>With the Deep Silence 5 we proudly present to you another big tower from the next generation of Silent PC cases.</b>

The huge tower features a more than generous space as well as fully modular HDD cages. Thus, the most extensive gaming systems can be installed in the case, with extra-long graphics cards and high-end CPU coolers. Alternatively, compact water cooling systems can be accommodated without encountering any space problems in the Big Tower.

The Deep Silence 5 comes with two foam insulated front doors. Behind the upper door the Deep Silence 5 offers four external 5.25 inch bays, a stepless 2-channel fan controller, as well as the reset button. Behind the second door two silent 140 mm Nanoxia fans are preinstalled in practical "Easy Access" fan trays. As with all Deep Silence cases magnets in the doors provide fast closing and easy opening.

The I/O-panel is located at the front part of the top cover. In addition to the green illuminated power button, you will find 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 as well as audio and mic ports here. Appropriate hardware can thus easily and quickly be installed.

You can install E-ATX or XL-ATX motherboards in the Deep Silence 5, as well as smaller form factors (ATX, M-ATX, Mini-ITX). Thanks to the generous interior space the Deep Silence 5 can be equipped with CPU cooler with a maximum height of 185 mm and graphic cards with a maximum length of 338 mm when all HDD cages are used. By removing the top two hard disk drive cages, even VGA cards with fabulous 468 mm in length can be accommodated.

<b>Almost noiseless</b>

In the course of the many years of development work, the focus was always on two requirements: minimize noise and minimize system temperatures.

As all Deep Silence cases, the Deep Silence 5 is fully soundproofed. The whole case is lined with noise absorbing materials. The sound insulation concept is designed to minimize and eventually resulting noises from the hardware. Hard disk drives and the power supply are mounted decoupled and the tower rests on anti-vibration case feet.

The Deep Silence 5 is manufactured from 1.0 mm thick steel. By using the highest quality materials, optimal noise insulation is ensured while providing a very stable case.

The three preinstalled 140 mm fans from the “Deep Silence” series are an important part of the noiseless concept. The quiet-running fans are designed for the best possible compromise between cooling performance and low noise levels. The Tower is also equipped with a 2-channel fan controller, as is standard for the Deep Silence case series.

Like the Deep Silence 2, the Deep Silence 5 offers two Nanoxia VentCovers under the top cover. They close the vent holes for 120/140 mm fans and allow the user to choose between improved cooling system by installing additional case fans or optimum noise isolation.

Easy-to-clean filters in the front and under the case bottom offer the best possible protection against the intrusion of dust into the case.

<b>Intelligent ventilation system</b>

Three 140 mm Deep Silence fans are already installed in the Deep Silence 5. Two of these are installed in in special swiveling brackets which allow for simple removal of the fans and easy access to the included dust filters. The third fan is mounted at the back of the case. Rotating at roughly 1,100 RMP, the fans generate an air flow of about 68.5 CFM and a static pressure of 1.08 mm H²O at a noise level of 14.4 dB(A).

You can mount a total of six fans in the Deep Silence 5. Besides the models mentioned above, you can install additional 120/140 mm case fans under the top cover and on the case bottom.

Thanks to the standard stepless fan control for up to six fans, an individual compromise between low system temperatures and the lowest possible noise level can be achieved, even with a full fan assembly.



<b>Water Cooling Ready</b>

Like all cases of our Deep Silence series, the Deep Silence 5 is of course “Watercooling ready”. Thanks to the fully modular HDD cages, you can fit compact water cooling solutions with 240/280 mm radiators behind the front panel.

Under the top cover you can mount a compact water cooling solution with a 240/280 mm slim-radiator. Four additional rubber hose guides for external water cooling solutions can be found at the rear of the case.

<b>Versatile Features</b>

The Nanoxia Deep Silence 5 offers a variety of very convenient product features:

Behind the lower door, 2 dust filter equipped holding frames can be found, each receiving one of the 140 mm fan. A simple pressure on the holding frame (it works using the push-pin principle) releases the anchoring, the flap can be opened, and dust filter and fan can be removed and cleaned very easily.

In order to mount up to eleven 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hard disk drives, a total of four fully modular HDD cages are provided. Three of these cages are designed for three HDD and the fourth holds up to two. In the interests of allowing as much personalization as possible, the cages can be removed and combined as desired. The hard disk capacity of the Deep Silence 5 is also expandable through the acquisition of additional HDD cages.

Due to this unique variability, the installation of long graphic cards with a maximum length of up to 468 mm is easily possible. Even when removing the top two HDD-cages, the case still offers five mounting locations for data storage drives.

The hard drives are installed in special mounting carriages, which are designed to accommodate both 2.5" HDD / SSD as well as 3.5" HDD. Screws with rubber suspension are used to hold the drives in place.

The Big Tower offers a lavish cable management; the nine openings are equipped with rubberized guards. In addition to high-end VGA-cards, all current CPU coolers can easily be accommodated in the case. At the rear side a total of ten PCI expansion slots can be found - the installation of a multi-GPU system is thus possible without difficulty.
