The NEC SA2500 can be configured with up to 12 GB of DDR 400MHz SDRAM for memory intensive applications and offers true flexible storage with the possibility of choosing between fixed or hotSwap disk configurations, with or without RAID, under SATA-2 (up to 2.0TB) or under Ultra320 SCSI (up to 1.2 TB). With 4 PCI slots along with 2 available media the NEC SA2500 offers multiple extension possibilities.
Complete System Configurability
To facilitate installation and system management, all NEC SA2500 servers are delivered standard with the ExpressBuilder installation and configuration software. Equally, the NEC SA2500 servers allow for easy mass deployment with the possible preinstallation of either Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows SBS 2003.
