Hardware RAID
Supporting hardware accelerated RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), ReadyNAS ensures full data redundancy with protection against hardware failure. If one drive fails, the data volumes can still be rebuilt with the remaining drives. ReadyNAS can be configured for levels 0, 1, 5 or ReadyNAS’s own X-RAID technology. Active Directory Integration

ReadyNAS can be integrated into Active Directory in a few keystrokes, allowing you to take full advantage of the existing permissions. ReadyNAS has cleverly packaged the system board, power supply and cooling fans into a discrete module. X-Change facilitates the servicing of non HDD related failures and literally takes just moments to swap out, saving man hours and minimizing downtime when it is most critical.

The rack-mountable 1U form factor of the ReadyNAS 1100 has a remarkable 12 inch depth that facilitates back-to-back arrangements. Its modular design —the system board module separates from the drive bay chassis—makes it very easy to service.
