The plug itself does not provide an automatic lock and it does not sit firmly in the socket so accidental traction could in the worst case scenario cause an interruption of the signal. As a result of equipment installation this is often considerably annoying and takes a lot of time to restore the connection.The patented Pure LOCK! system is a universal fastener which can be used universally for all HDMI™ cables and plugs currently available on the market. The Pure Lock! fastener is pulled over the HDMI™ plug and the screw which lies over the HDMI™ socket of the device is removed and the Pure Lock! fastener’s screw is screwed in instead. From now on signal interruptions caused by the plug slipping out are a thing of the past.
