NCCB8 New Construction Bracket Pair For 8" In Ceiling Speaker For our ICE810, ICE840, and ICE840TT 8" ceiling speakers, this new construction bracket is installed when the studs or joists are exposed before mounting the sheet rock or ceiling tiles. New construction brackets are not required when you purchase OSD Audio speakers as all models feature dog-eared clamps that secure speakers to the ceiling. However, new construction brackets do provide additional support and allow you to determine the exact placement of the speaker while providing a template to cut the mounting hole.
