DMP-BD85 Blu-ray Player PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image-processing technology developed by Panasonic to precisely process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc™ video signal in the vertical direction. It reproduces colour data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems to keep colours faithful and sharp.
High precision 4:4:4 which reproduce the colour signals in horizontal directions with higher resolution have now further advanced. Not only faithfully reproduce details of Full HD movies in 1080p as filmmakers intended, concert and documentary films saved in 1080i are now reproduced with greater details than ever before.
In digital audio, the reduction of clock jitter is the key to having high quality sound. In HDMI transfer, the audio clock is combined into video clock and the receiver regenerates audio clock from the video clock. It is difficult to produce audio clocks without jitter errors during regeneration, because of the un-dividables in the equation. In order to reduce this jitter error to the minimum, HDMI Jitter Purifier has been added to Blu-ray Disc™ player so for any AV receivers or TVs, the maximum potential of Blu-ray sound can be achieved.
