This speaker can be split into two by removing the connecting hardware in the centre. Then you have four great installation options to suit your room. Try a horizontal or vertical speaker layout and have them free standing or wall mounted.
Based on the phenomenal MASH noise shaping technology used for many years in Panasonic products, the Anti-Jitter Digital Amplifier markedly reduces jitter and distortion that can affect audio clarity, producing pure brilliant sound. The result is high quality sound with a full surround effect that rivals that of a real home cinema system.
By expanding the sound field in the upper front area of the TV screen, Clear-mode Dialog gives the sound greater depth. It also makes voices sound like they’re coming from the centre of the screen. Dialogue volume is adjustable to 4 levels. This function is great for when dialog is drowned out by the surround sound and is difficult to hear.
Finer bamboo fibers than were used in the 2011 models enable this new cone speaker to reproduce clear, fresh natural tones with minimal distortion.
The SC-HTB20 is compatible with the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature. ARC makes it possible to receive audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This feature simplifies connection by eliminating the audio cable connection between the TV audio output and the main unit’s audio input. * ARC compatible TV is required.
