It is submersible and corrosion proof. The charger base unit can be installed at home or work using the 220 V transformer (included), or in a vehicle through direct wiring (optional) or 12 V plug-in (optional). It comes with a long-life rechargeable NiMH battery pack, but 4 AA alkaline cells can also be used.
