The XC-HM86 features Hi-Res Audio playback including up to 11.2 MHz DSD, internet radio, Spotify® and other music streaming services, built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, Wi-Fi, and AirPlay. The 3.5” color LCD provides GUI, song information, and album artwork.
<b>Streaming Services & Internet Radio</b>
Enjoy listening to whatever music you like with streaming services such as Pandora®, Spotify, TIDAL*, and Deezer*. The unit is also preset with TuneIn for enjoying internet radio. With over 100,000 radio stations, you can listen to free broadcasts of music, sports, news and talk shows from around the world.
<b>Connect with AirPlay® and Wi-Fi</b>
After connecting your XC-HM86 to your home network, you can control/access your music library with the remote control, or play music from your phone or tablet using AirPlay.
<b>Plug and Play External HDD</b>
Connect an external HDD via USB, and you can easily listen to your whole music library without using your PC.
<b>Hi-Res Audio File Playback via USB/ Network</b>
You can play up to 11.2 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital) files, and up to 192 kHz/24-bit WAV, FLAC, and AIFF from a USB device or via wired or wireless network.
<b>3.5” LCD Display</b>
The XC-HM86 features a 3.5” LCD display with a user-friendly GUI. You can see the format, sampling rate, bit rate, elapsed time, and album artwork for the playing song. It also becomes an operational display for setting and controlling functions, without having to use a PC or mobile device.
<b>Quality Audio Playback for Headphones</b>
A dedicated amplifier for headphones featuring high-performance and low noise is built-in. When using headphones, the unnecessary circuits within the unit is cut off, so you can enjoy high quality sound.
<b>Wireless Multi-room Audio</b>
The XC-HM86 will support FireConnect™ Powered by Blackfire*1 with a future firmware update. FireConnect is a stable wireless protocol that streams audio from a compatible Pioneer AV Receiver to a compatible Pioneer wireless speaker*2. Enjoy Bluetooth audio, front USB audio files and internet radio from the FireConnect compatible Pioneer AV receiver to an optional FireConnect compatible Pioneer wireless speaker(s)*2 located in another room(s).
