Our guide has information that has never appeared in a WWE strategy guide before. Check out the Tactics section starting on page 86. Info such as the Reversal Windows (the amount of time a player has to reverse, or “counter,” an attack made against them) are major scores. Reversal Windows are key. In the WWE game a player can reverse just about attack made against them. If they can time it right, they can go through a bout unscathed. These details (along with our other behind-the-scenes technical information) will appeal to hardcore fighter players, it’s the kind of information they crave so they can refine their play. Without this info WWE franchise may have been a pass for many hardcore fighter fans. But Prima’s guide has these vital details that can really improve a player’s enjoyment of the game.
Along with attack details Prima also has damage tables (page 87) to show just how much damage can be done by special attacks and objects. Plus tables revealing how a Superstar’s different attribute ratings affect the damage they can do. Using this information will give players a leg up on picking their characters, choosing their attacks, and deciding how to gauge their opponents’ strength.
