Data fields include RFID tag ID, barcode ID, location, department, maintenance, purchasing, warranty, lease, deprecation, information technology and 50 other user definable fields.

The tags receive incoming radio frequency signals emitted by a mobile computer with RFID tag reader. The incoming radio signals energize the tag, causing the tag to transmit its identification data back to the mobile computer.
