Rommelsbacher’s new Steamer models are fully in line with the most recent trend: cooking the healthy way for enjoying delicious food.
Foods are cooked using hot steam. Therefore, they will not leach. Steamed food is richer in flavour because of its genuine savour being stressed. Therefore, one can frequently do without adding any salt at all. Hydrophilic water-soluble nutrients, particularly mineral nutrients like vitamin C and vitamins counting among the B-group, will not blend into the cooking water but remain unscathed to a large extent. Specific vitamins, such as provitamine A (beta carotene) and vitamin E, are being dissolved from their solid cell form, making them utilisable for us only then.
Given there will be no scorching one can run the cooking process devoid of any fat being rich in calories. There will be no need for stirring or permanent supervision of the cooking container.
Fish or vegetables will not become crumbled.
Vegetables, potatoes, yeast dumplings, fish and meat (prime boiled beef) taste excellent when steamed. Food requiring some browning, such as roast meat or fried fish, is not qualified.
