Visionnary MappingTM
One technological advance that differentiates the NaviBot from previous robotic vacuum cleaners is its innovative Visionnary MappingTM technology. The NaviBot uses an onboard camera, capable of capturing images at 30 frames per second, to take an image of the ceiling before cleaning commences. By using this image to create a virtual map of the cleaning zone the robot calculates the most efficient cleaning route to ensure maximum coverage of the area. This ensures that cleaning is carried out in a methodical, improved by the fact that the NaviBot remembers which areas have already been completed, so that they are not covered twice. It is this logic that sets the NaviBot apart from other robotic vacuum cleaners in the marketplace. Compared with competitor models, which clean in a haphazard and random manner, the NaviBot reduces cleaning time whilst increasing coverage, leading to an all round more efficient and thorough cleaning performance.
Triple Brush System
The NaviBot uses a triple brush system to ensure the maximum pick up of dust, dirt and pet hair from wood and laminate floors to short and mid pile carpets. The two side brushes rotate to loosen the pile of the carpet and sweep any surface debris into the path of the main brush. These ‘road sweeper’ type brushes enable the NaviBot to clean right up to edges and in to corners with ease. The bristles of the main brush then help to propel pet hair and dirt into the suction path, aided by soft rubber teeth that also help to trap and collect hair and debris.
