The SANYO Internet Radio R227 can play thousands of crystal-clear internet radio stations and podcasts without a subscription fee, requiring only a wireless (WiFi) or Ethernet internet connection. Listening to your favorite sports, music and talk radio from around the world has never been easier.

Industry-standard Streaming Radio
Internet radio stations and podcasts can be easily searched by country or genre (MP3, WMA, AAC, AIFF, RM and WAV formats supported) with eight Internet station presets. The device also boasts an FM stereo digital tuner with eight station presets.
Easy to Search Stations
The R227 makes it easy to find and enjoy sports, music, and talk internet radio stations from all over the world –without being tethered to a computer. Stations can be searched by location (country) or the type of audio content (genre). Designed with the user in mind, the R227 offers simple, one-button on/off function viewing on easy to read backlit display. All features are easily accessible via the large rotary dial, front panel buttons or be using the full function remote control.
Automatic Updates via the Internet
The R227 is designed to automatically update internet radio stations and clock time setting from the internet. Additionally, the user can request new stations to be added to the station database.
Wake to Internet Radio or FM Radio
Clock and alarm functions are an integral part of the R227's feature set. It allows users to wake up to Internet or FM radio programming as well as buzzer. Internet radio stations can stored to one of eight presets. An integrated FM radio tuner adds more flexibility to the system with its own eight presets.
