Triceratops and therizinosaurus, small
Triceratops and Therezinosaurus were two impressive dinosaurs. Despite their dangerous looks, both were only herbivores. However, both were quite defensive.
Therizinosaurus never had to use its gigantic claws against Triceratops: neither of them was carnivorous and they lived in different periods.
The very apt name Triceratops means three-horn skull; the head of this mighty dinosaur had three horns and a huge neck shield. All this probably served to defend against attacks. The Therizinosaurus impressed with his enormous, sickle-like claws, which he probably used to defend himself, not to hunt, for he was an herbivore.
