The G4500M Car Kit allows you to turn your iPAQ hw6500 into a fully-functional communication device! Whether you are looking for a GPS Navigation system or email and hands-free conversation capabilities, the Seidio G4500M car kit will compliment your iPAQ and enable the driver to take advantage of its full potential. With Seidio's G4500M, the possibilities are endless!
The G4500M includes the following features:
GPS Receiver Compatibility - Although the iPAQ 6515 is equipped with a GPS receiver, the G4500M gives you the option of using either a wired GPS receiver (with the connectivity of our built-in RJ11 jack), or your iPAQ's built-in Bluetooth capabilities to connect to a Bluetooth receiver (sold separately).
Multifunction Cradle - The G4500M securely holds your iPAQ in place and comes equipped with the needed components to mount your device in one of two ways: an 8-inch windshield pedestal and an air vent pedestal. A 360-degree swivel base adaptor is also included that allows for optimal viewing placement.
Built in External Speaker - The G4500M includes a high quality speaker, with an adjustable volume control, that can broadcast GPS navigation commands or other output with a powerful volume boosting capability.
External Microphone - A high-quality external microphone is included to help ensure that your phone conversations come through loud and clear.
Audio Output - The G4500M includes an audio out port that allows you to route your output (GPS commands and music) through your car's audio system using our optional FM Transmitter Kit. This audio out is MONO only, NOT stereo.
DC Power Input - The G4500M includes a DC charger so your iPAQ has a continuous power source whenever it is docked. You may also purchase our hardwire cable that allows you to connect the cradle directly to your vehicle's electrical system, bypassing the need for the included DC charger.
DC Power Output - The G4500M includes a DC output port that can be used for powering other devices without having to use an additional power adapter, with the use of an appropriate adapter cable. You can also power our FM Transmitter (available separately) directly from the cradle with the purchase of our optional DC power adapter cable.
