DKAP8P iPod Docking Station with removable touch panel
Sharp DK-AP8P, the new iPod docking system is designed to match the look and feel of an iPod or iPhone. It’s compatible with all generation of iPods and iPhones while doubling up as a charger when either device is docked. Finished in glossy piano black, the DK-AP8P has a removable touch panel that controls the system button-free via infrared. Another feature is that it has various ports including AUX input and video output on the back which enables it to be connected to a TV for viewing photos or videos stored on the iPhone or iPod.
The docking sound system can also be used for hands-free phone calls and, it stops the music when the iPhone answers a call and starts it again automatically when the call is terminated.
The 4.4W of sound (2 x 1.2W plus 2W) delivered by the DK-AP8P are produced by a 2.1 speaker system with separate subwoofer and a digital amplifier. Additional audio improvements come via SRS WOW which is an audio enhancement suite made up by three SRS technologies and HDSS (High Definition Sound Standard).
DK-AP8P can be taken anywhere in its soft carrying bag as it runs on batteries or mains power. It’s a portable solution to enjoying high-quality audio from any location.
