With this modem router you can easily create a wireless network and share a high-speed Internet connection, files and peripheral devices. Thanks to the integrated ADSL2+ modem, you can connect the modem router directly to your ADSL line.
The modem router provides wireless speed of up to 450 Mbps on two wireless frequencies and has an excellent wireless coverage thanks to its six integrated antennas. With Simultaneous Dual-Band technology you can use two wireless networks at the same time. The standard 2,4 GHz frequency is ideal for lighter applications such as online shopping, e-mailing and online banking whereas the less congested 5 GHz frequency is ideal for more demanding applications such as HD streaming and online gaming. Equipped with four Gigabit ports, the modem router offers wired speed of up to 1000 Mbps, an excellent setup for game consoles and desktop PCs used for heavy applications.
You can easily set up two guest networks with this modem router, one for the 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi network and one for the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. With a guest network, you can offer visiting friends and family members secure Internet access without exposing your network, as all private files in the network will be off limits.
