Simply screw the close-up lens into the filter thread to be ready for macro shots of insects, flowers, coins and more popular subjects. The longer the focal length the more effective the close-up lens will be. Up to 2 lenses can be combined to equal a maximum of 7 diopters. A ratio of 1:2 can be achieved with a 50mm (related to 24x36mm size) lens. The reduction of aperture by 2 to 3 steps is recommended to get best results.
