The teleconverter is simply mounted between the lens and camera and extends the focal length of your lens by the factor 2x. For example: a 70-300mm lens is converted into a 140-600mm.

The close focus range of your lens does not change with the usage of the SOLIGOR AF teleconverters. As a result the ratio is improved by the same factor.

Increasing the focal length at the same time means reducing the lens speed. In some cases the autofocus of your SLR will therefore not operate. Focusing should then be done manually.
