Digital Signage
Otherwise known as "Out of Home Digital Media", digital signage is a means of reaching people when they are "on the go" - for example, in shops, cafes or airports.
This large HD Ready screen is ideal for Digital Signage, due to the visibility and impace. A range of devices that connect with this display are available to enable our channel partners to deliver effective solutions for digital signage, whatever your customer needs.
Videoconferencing
Flat panel displays are ideal for use in video conferencing systems, thanks to the excellent picture quality and small space requirement. The FWD50PX3 has "Picture and Picture" (PAP) and "Picture in Picture" (PIP) functions, as well as a new "conference mode". This picture mode is adapted to suit typical office lighting and means that faces and expressions can be seen more clearly.
No False Contour
Image reproduction in Plasma Technology typically causes an image effect called False Contour, where colour gradation lines can be seen. Typically we see this in human skin, most obviously around the cheek bones.
The FWD50PX3 uses a new technology, resulting in clearer images and eliminating the visible gradation caused by false contour technology.
Inbuilt RJ45 port for management and control

Conference Mode for video conferencing use
Brightens faces to show expressions more clearly; reduces the green element (common in offices due to fluorescent lights) resulting in more natural colour reproduction
