Data Cartridge 32GB Native This tape media is capable of storing 36 GB of native data and 72 GB of compressed data. These tape cartridges are verified and qualified by the Hewlett-Packard DAT72 licensing program which ensures rigid media performance with DAT72 drives. The tape media has a Metal Particle (MP) coating. Unlike common MP tapes, the tape features a dual-layer, ultra thing magnetic coating which increases output and reduces noise even in the high frequency range essential for high-density data recording.
