VPL-CX86: Wireless Bright XGA Installation Projector, 3000 ANSI lumen, IEEE 802.11b/g
The new VPL-CX86 comes supplied with the new improved Air Shot™ (Version 2). This new version offers the following advantages:
-20% faster connection and transfer speed.
-Wireless IEEE 802.11b/g.
-High level security with WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access).
-Added remote maintenance functions including E-mail alerts and IP Control using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
Sony Air Shot™ gives a choice of two connection modes:
-Simple mode: an easy 3-step set-up process.
-Manual mode: configure wireless settings manually.
-Connect up to 100 PC’s to one VPL-CX86.
-Display the image from one PC on up to five VPL-CX86.
-Connect to a LAN (Local Area Network) via a wireless LAN access point.
RS-232C
Connections include an RS-232C port for management and control of the projector.
Two RGB Inputs
Two 15-pin D-sub inputs allow for flexible connection. Input-A is for RGB or Component, Input-B is for RGB only.
Memory Stick™
Photos (JPEG, DCF), video clips (MPEG1) and Microsoft PowerPoint files saved as JPEG can be viewed directly from the projector using Memory Stick™ media*. BMP and TIFF files can be projected by converting them to JPEG files, using the supplied Projector Station for Presentation software.
The VPL-CX86 has a standard size Memory Stick™ slot, compatible with Duo size and M.S. PRO. This means there is no need for a PC. Images can be controlled directly via the remote commander.
*Memory Stick™ media of over 2GB are not supported.
