HDMI/DVI, 1920 x 1200p, CAT5 The HDMIREPDEC uses a full Silicon Image receiver/transmitter chipset to recover a HDMI 1.3 signal to become a virtually new signal after 30 m of cable attenuation. The HDMIREPDEC 1.3 accepts HDMI 1.3 input signals from 480i to 1080p and supports HDCP.
The unit may also be used to cascade 2 CAT5 extenders.
Maximum PC resolution is 1920 x 1200p.
HDMIREPDEC has additional audio outputs as 8-channel analog audio or optical digital audio.
An EDID switch at the front forces the source in the desired audio format available in the HDMI datastream.
HDCP rules require to have a HDCP capable display (sink) connected at the output otherwise the unit cannot decode
and output any audio.
