Takata MAXI auto seat, 15 - 36kg, Shiny Silver
The Takata Maxi is a unique, multi-talented car seat.
Children couldn’t be happier with the soft cushioning, upholstered armrests, and comfortable microfiber textiles (all of which are tested for harmful substances).
They are also kept incredibly safe – the belt always stays in position, thanks to the automatically closing belt guide, and the head is well protected by airpad technology.
Parents value the simple, single-hand height adjustment mechanism, along with the belt guides, while the fold-down function means the seat can be easily stowed when not in use. With all these benefits and more, the seat is extremely popular among a number of premium automotive manufacturers.

Airpads:
These static air cushions are made of the same tear-resistant fabric as vehicle airbags, and contain both air and foam. In the case of a side impact, the air is compressed, and flows out through the fabric. As in an airbag, this reduces the energy from the impact, providing a vital layer of protection between the child and the seat. Unlike traditional child seat crash pads, airpads are also soft and comfortable in day-to-day use. This airpad technology is patented and is found in every Takata child seat.
ISOFIX:
ISOFIX is a shared, standardized system that makes installing child seats easy. In order for it to be used, the vehicle must be fitted with ISOFIX points, and be suitable for the ISOFIX child seat in question. The technology ensures Takata seats are held firmly and securely at all times. Please always check the vehicle lists (link) and the installation instructions provided by your vehicle manufacturer. Our lists are regularly updated and are available online.
