SODIMM RAM ELITE serie DDR2 667 Mhz, 2 GB
Once Dual Core technology was introduced to CPUs intended for desktop PCs, the third generation Napa (research codename) Centrino standard for notebook computers was upgraded as well to be replaced by the fourth-generation Santa Rosa platform. Apart from the use of the all-new Merom processor, Santa Rosa switched to the PM/GM965 chipset while retaining support for DDR2 667 memory.
Team Group has therefore released DDR2 667 SO-DIMM memory in response to the adoption of DDR2 667 for notebook platforms. Our DDR2 667 notebook memory modules use the 200-Pin standard, runs at 1.8V, has been clocked at 667MHz and thanks to the boost by Dual Channel architecture, delivers a bandwidth performance of 10.7GB/sec to give a massive boost to system performance.
Another important issue for notebook computers is the ability to upgrade the notebook’s memory capacity so it can be used for more demanding applications such as 3D gaming. Team Group’s DDR2 667 SO-DIMM uses chip combinations such as 32x16, 64x8 and 128x8 to offer memory capacities from 512MB to 2GB. If two 1GB memory modules are used together, the 2GB of memory running in Dual Channel mode makes light work of virtual worlds in online games.
