tesa® Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass 20 kg/m has been developed for a quick, secure and permanent hold on all smooth and sufficiently firm surfaces. Especially suited for nearly invisible fixing on transparent surfaces like glass, mirrors and acrylic or for transparent objects and applications. It’s super-easy to use – you don’t need any tools other than a pair of scissors – and ensures a durable, reliable hold. Under optimum conditions a single 10 cm strip can hold up to 2 kg.

tesa® Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass 20 kg/m is made to give a permanent hold on transparent and solid indoor surfaces like glass doors – and as the name implies, it’s almost invisible.

<b>How to apply – Step by step</b>
- To ensure the best possible bond, the object and the surface must be free of dust, dirt and grease. To clean them, use a brush or a lint-free cloth and a silicone-freecleaner like methylated spirits. Make sure the surface is dry before application.
- Check if the surface or the object is rougher and apply the mounting tape to the rougher surface.
- Apply the tape in vertical strips along the full length of the object or surface. Reinforce the upper portion with shorter strips, since that’s where most of the load will be born.
- Press down firmly across the entire surface of Mounting Tape for at least five seconds. Remove the protective film, taking care not to touch the exposed adhesive surface as this could affect the adhesion.
- Fix the object and press it again at least five seconds.

<b>All you need is a pair of scissors</b>
tesa® Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass has been specially developed for use on transparent and solid surfaces like glass. This adhesive tape offers the opportunity to design your own mounting situation without tools, and under optimum conditions a single 10-cm strip can hold up to 2 kg. It is ideal for surfaces like glass, windows or acrylic where drilling or hammering is not an option. You don’t need any tools (other than a pair of scissors). The roll is all you need to get your objects and decorations up on the wall, permanently.

<b>How to remove</b>
Since the mounting tape is designed for a permanent hold, it is not made to be removed. If you have to remove it, tear it off carefully, slowly and parallel to the surface. Remove any residue with tesa® Adhesive Remover.
