It is easy to make low-cost or even tollfree calls within the network using Skype* if your PC has high-speed Internet access (e.g. DSL). The tiptel cyberBOX 250 has been developed to extend this benefit to an existing telephone, telephone system or even your cell phone when you are on the go.
The tiptel cyberBOX 250 is simply connected between the analog telephone connection and the existing telephone and connected with the PC via USB. The tiptel cyberBOX 250 then connects to Skype* as soon as you enter a personal code on the telephone. It does not matter whether the telephone is directly connected to the network or if an external caller (e.g. from a cell phone) wants a connection to Skype*. If calls come in through the Internet, they are signaled on the connected telephone or redirected to the cell phone, depending on the settings.
When choosing the person you want to call, tiptel cyberBOX 250 helps you select the abbreviated dial numbers that can be created in the Skype* software. This makes cost-saving Internet calls comfortable and easy without having to be near the PC. A tiptel cyberBOX 250 is especially efficient when used with a fixed line connection that is available at especially low cost via the cell phone thanks to special tariffs. Friends and business partners can also benefit greatly from calling toll-free from around the world within the Skype* network.
