TA26 nVidia NFP3600 2U Tyan packs massive amounts of computing power into a 2U rackmount chassis. This sever barebone is based on the nVidia nForce Professional 3600 chipset. It supports Dual AMD Opteron Rev. F dual or quad core 2000 series processors. The processors are backed with 16 DIMM slots supporting up to 64GB of total memory.
The chassis has 8x3.5" hot swappable drive bays. The motherboard has 6 SATA ports supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 5 and JBOD. There are 8 SAS ports on the motherboard that support RAID 0, 1 and 1E. There is also a slim DVD drive installed into the server for program and data loads.
Keeping everything cool is important. That is why the motherboard supports automatic fan speed control. The system comes with 2 80x80mm fans and 1 60x60mm fan.
