Digipass 905
For banks and other organizations who need to enable users to access chip cards via PCs the DIGIPASS 905 is a USB connected transparent chip card readers/ writer that is fully interoperable with all PC/SC enabled applications and most chip cards. Unlike other chip card readers/ writers the DIGIPASS 905 is designed to meet the requirements for both desk-top and notebook usage.
The DIGIPASS 905 (DP 905) is an USB chip card reader/writer which can be used as desk-top device or as ‘add-on’ device, attached to note-book or monitor/display. The DP 905 is delivered with a separate stand. When used in combination with the stand, the reader is extremely stable and card insertion/retraction can be done through a ‘one-hand’ operation. The device has a modern and trustworthy design, targeted to be used in an office or home environment. The device can be customized through customer specific color scheme and company logos.
The DP 905 is suitable for a wide range of applications, such as electronic banking, internet security, network security, loyalty and PKI applications.
LEDs provide device status, card insertion and card communication indication.
The application interface is based on the PC/SC interface standard. Leveraging the CCID standard, separate driver installation for most PC environments (amongst others Microsoft Windows) is not needed.
