A pleasure to hold and a pleasure to use. The J220i is easy communications in a small and light mobile phone. The keys are well spaced and responsive to the touch, and effective backlighting makes the numbers and letters on the keys clearly visible. The five-way navigation key is also backlit, making it easy to see useful shortcut icons.
<b>Choose your desktop</b>
The J220i menus are in full colour, and you can activate the functions you use most straight from the desktop with one press. The icon desktop has two modes. One has all the icons visible, and you use the navigation key to move between them. The other shows one icon in full-screen size, and you scroll up or down to choose the phone function.
<b>Covers and themes</b>
When you want to give your phone a new look, you can remove the front and back covers and replace them with Sony Ericsson Style-Up Covers™ (available in retail stores). You can also change the look of your screen with themes. Display themes are colourful combinations of text and background patterns. There are three themes to choose from.
