The Wasp WWS100i cordless barcode scanner gives you the flexibility to wirelessly transmit barcode data to your smartphone or tablet device from up to 10 m line of sight. The pocket-sized form factor makes the WWS100i an ideal barcode scanner for environments where mobility is vital, including retail, office, healthcare, and library use. Delivering fast and accurate scanning performance, the WWS100i utilizes a CCD scan engine to read all popular linear (1D) barcodes while quickly capturing 240 scans/second from near contact up to 14 cm away. The compact scanner easily detects poorly printed or damaged barcodes with a Print Contrast Ratio (PCR) as low as 30% - enabling you to collect a greater scope of barcoded information. With an integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the WWS100i captures up to 5,000 scans within its 8 hour (1 scan/5 seconds) working life. To charge the WWS100i simply plug the included USB adapter into the scanner and your local PC.
Built for busy, high-use environments, the WWS100i’s ABS plastic housing has the ability to withstand multiple 1.5 m drops to concrete – easily preventing downtime and costly repairs. LED and beep tone indicators instantly inform you of the power status, wireless connectivity, and barcode detection. The WWS100i conforms to FCC Class B and CE requirements.
