Every time it is turned on, Forensic ComboDock asks the user to choose either write-blocking or read/write mode, avoiding problems that can occur when the user forgets to change the mode to write-blocking. This is a simpler, and more secure way to turn off write-blocking, compared to other devices in the market that require the user to turn off write-blocking with tiny switches, often leading to confusion about what mode the device is in. Forensic ComboDock's LED indicator light and an easy screen menu also clearly identify the work mode.
