RedPort Fibre Channel, 4x PCIe, 800MB/s
The RedPort line adds write-blocked ports to a Windows or Linux computer. Connecting a storage device to our RedPort on the back of a computer means the attached device is write-blocked.
RedPort works much like our Forensic Docks, preventing writes to drives. But instead of being an external docking device, RedPort is a PCI card and works within the host computer, allowing write-blocked access to enclosures or drives with one of several connection types.
WiebeTech's RedPort host cards are developed in partnership with ATTO Technology, a global leader in storage interface connectivity. We've leveraged their years of experience with SCSI, Fibre Channel, and SAS technology with our knowledge of our customers' work environment and requirements.
RedPort Fibre Channel delivers up to 800 MB/s throughput per channel in full-duplex mode. "We don't come across them often," investigators tell us, "but we need a solution for Fibre Channel drives." RedPort allows us to deliver more solutions for data acquisition to make the job of investigators easier and more efficient.
