Following the same pattern as of its forerunner, Xiaomi 5s, the Plus version also has a metallic body. This wear resistant “shell” endures heavy usage and ensures its owner zero trouble carrying it with other objects. It does not feel chunky in hand, holds solid and comfortable owing to its elegant shape. Its dimensions are 154.6×77.7×8 mm and it weighs only 168 gram.
The choice of colors, which are in keeping with the steel-like material, is humble and exquisite. Xiaomi has treated us with 4 color options for this model: delicate rose gold and soft moon gold, with its sleek and fashion-oriented manner, will be found alluring for a female audience. A more versatile frosted silver version and dark gray model are aimed to reach a more classic-type of a user.
<b>High-end additional features</b>
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has adopted a bunch of other notable features, seen in every Mi phone of the 5th generation. Fingerprint recognition feature has improved owing to the sapphire coating of the screen. Its several protective layers prevent the front “face” from scratching and last long without abrasions. The screen is responsive to the slightest touch and unlocks an access to all the personal data without breaking a sweat.
Apart from fingerprint scanner, a few other useful options “cruised” into the model.
