Forerunner of the new Zenec 2011 product generation is the ZE-NC620D, a new 2-DIN multimedia fixed in-car navigation system. Zenec is the market leader for in-car multimedia in the German speaking area.

Zenec‘s Topclass 2-DIN naviceiver offers unbeatable audio, video and communication features, combined with an innovative navigation system that is easy to use even though it has many extra functions.

The ZE-NC620D is equipped with a digital 15.7 cm/6.2" HD WVGA TFT LCD panel with LED backlight for ultra sharp, high-contrast images, thanks to a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The animated, high-resolution GUI with slide touch operation allows fast and easy control of all functions.

De luxe functionality – that is something else the ZE-NC620D stands for: the integrated CD/DVD drive plays all the current multimedia formats, including the popular Xvid container formats for AVI Files; music and videos can be played via USB, SD, iPod or iPhone – Album Art is also implemented in the audio playback menu.

Furthermore, the Zenec ZE-NC620D is equipped with a Parrot Bluetooth hands-free set, complete with the new, even more sensitive external microphone. For users who prefer music from their mobile phone, A2DP with AVRCP 1.3 is also supported.

Beside the convenience of imported phonebook contacts, the search function (up to 15 letters) with the new Parrot Bluetooth solution can make finding an entry enormously easier. The Bluetooth Quick-Dial menu gives fast, direct access to the five most favorite contacts, which can easily be edited at any time.

Operating logic, grouping and settings of the audio, video, Bluetooth and navigation functions are key points, whereby Zenec can justly claim to have the most user friendly layout of all multimedia navigation systems available today. The concept and design of the menu meet the requirements of a modern HMI (Human Machine Interface). The menus are therefore completely self-explanatory and intuitive to use. The ZE-NC620D offers different ways of customizing the menus to the preferences of the user. For example, there are three different screens to choose from when displaying the FM/AM source in the radio playback menu.

Another user friendly feature is the export and import of user settings via the USB port – settings can be saved in no time and reloaded later.

<b>Graphical User Interface (GUI)</b>
For clear and straightforward navigation experience with perfectly structured and logical menus, Zenec has the lead in the hand.

All functions can be easily and precisely controlled via the touchscreen display. Large control fields and attractive, high-contrast graphics ensure that the ZE-NC620D can also be safely used when driving.

The ZE-NC620D’s high-resolution slide touch user interface features menus and map sections that can be slide across the screen with a swiping action. The maps and data features appearing on the main menu of the naviceiver are freely configurable by the user depending on the information required.

<b>The perfect navigator</b>
The ZE-NC620D comes with the latest maps of 43 European countries (with Premium POIs) that look very clear and realistic, thanks to the 3D high definition rendering of terrain and 3D objects. With 8 GB, there is more than enough flash memory for the continual updates covering map data, 3D building and landscape features.

Zenec‘s innovative navigation software makes destination selection and route planning even more comfortable and intuitive. The Quick menu gives fast access to all functions. Smart and Eco route calculation modes make for shorter and more economical trips.

Features like the new Real Junction View function, the Lane Assistant or the Auto Zoom at crossings and junctions facilitate orientation in more complex traffic highway systems. Also included in the function set is the display of traffic information and advisories when crossing EU borders, together with an optical and acoustic speed warning displaying the maximum speed on the most important roads.


<b>TMC and TMC Pro</b>
The TMC/TMC Pro function keeps you up to date regarding potential traffic jams on the chosen route, while automatic re-calculation of a suitable detour is a function covered as well. Just select the respective TMC function and you’ll get all relevant traffic messages on your map screen directly.

Off the factory the TMC service is functional and free. The TMC Pro function requires a licence (lifetime) to be separately purchased through Naviextras (available for Germany, UK and France only).
