The management system is licensed according to number of devices requiring management. These include actively managed SNMP-capable devices such as switches, routers, security switches, the 3Com VCX ™ networked telephony server, and wireless access points. Devices not considered in this count include end stations, workstations, servers, and IP telephone handsets.
